America Summer Trip (long over due I know)

Here are some pictures of our little trip to America this summer. I wish I had taken more, but I guess we were more wrapped up in enjoying the time with the family than taking pictures. We were in Utah, Montana, and Wyoming, and even got to visit the sisters briefly in Colorado. Such a nice trip. Thanks to the parents who sponsered the trip:).

Oslo Cruise!

Last weekend we had a fun little mini cruise to Oslo, Norway. It was a lot of fun, even though it rained the whole time we were in Oslo. It was beautiful in Norway, and of course I had to get a sweater as a suvenier. Anja really enjoyed the swimming on the ship, and overall the trip was a lot of fun!

Randoms since February

Here are some random pictures since February. These first ones are from Kristian and I's FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! Kristian suprised me with a night at the fanciest hotel in Copenhagen, and it was so much fun. We had dinner at Nyhavn, and had such a fun evening. He did good!!

Anja's First Birthday! (Yes it was in February!)

Ok, so I have REALLY dropped the ball on the blogspot, but I am going to try to make up for lost time. Anja had her 1st birthday on February 21st, and we had so much fun celebrating with her. We woke her up in the morning singing all of the crazy Danish birthday songs, and of course the American one as well, and then we had a nice little breakfast. I made some blueberry whole wheat and oatmeal pancakes, and she really seemed to enjoy them. She actually held the pancakes to her belly after each bite because it felt nice to have a warm pancake on her little bare belly. So cute! We then had some friends for dinner, and Anja had her very own birthday cake (a danish layer cake), which she had fun getting ALL OVER!! It was fun to watch Anja enjoy the spoils of her birthday, and I still can't believe she is 1 year old! We love her so much, and she makes us laugh more each day! We are so lucky to have the best little girl in the world!!

Christmas and New Years!

For Christmas break my mom and sister Olivia got to come and visit us in Denmark. It was so nice to have them here! Christmas was really nice, and Christmas dinner was oh so good. We traveled all around Denmark to find a $50 turkey, but it was worth it. We also had home-made rolls, mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, grandma's cranberry fluff, green bean casserole, and a home-made pecan pie. Writing this is making me hungry! We also had a great New Year's at Kristians Aunt and Uncles house, where we danced all night, and watched the amazing danish fireworks! Denmark is denfinitely the place to be on New Years! I think Anja really enjoyed her first Christmas and New Years as well, and we enjoyed watching her.
